At the time of enrollment, not later than first lesson it is the responsibility of the parent, guardian or student of any class to provide signed Program Registration Form, including any and all medical information and documentation necessary for Spirit program to deliver safe and functional service.

Cancellations due to weather, for therapeutic program, will be madeif Park is closed or if SPIRIT staff determines that the following conditions exist one hour prior to class:
Winds exceeding 25 MPH. Tornado warnings, severe thunderstorms, or hail storms. Steady, heavy rain. (Classes will not be cancelled in light rain.) Hazardous driving conditions. Temperatures above 97 degrees or wind chill/temperature below 40 degrees - for outdoor lessons (Saturday) Conditions, such as extreme muddiness, that would make it unsafe to hold classes Cancelation will be announced at the Blog
Spirit Open Equestrian Program, Inc. is a non-profit 501 (C)(3) public charity and is able to exist purely by private and public donations.
Every Dollar donated goes directly to the program.

Spirit also cannot exist without the special horses required for this type of program. You can help us keep our horses in good condition and good health by contributing to help us cover boarding cost, feed, vet and other horse related costs.
General Donation: Any level of support would be greatly appreciated and a general donation of any kind will be put to good use to help Spirit provide the services so needed by its riders.

SPIRIT OPEN EQUESTRIAN PROGRAM TEAM GUIDELINES
· INSTRUCTOR – organize and execute safe and functional lesson delivery to clients, coordinate Volunteer Team during program activities, communicate with parents as needed, provide written evaluations, including short/long term goals, and individual plan of activities for each rider; in coordination with Executive Director (ED)
· ASSISTANT INSTRUCTOR / INSTRUCTOR IN TRAINING supervised by Instructor, organize and execute safe and functional lesson delivery to clients, coordinate Volunteer Team during program activities, communicate with parents as needed, provide written evaluations, including short/long term goals, and individual plan of activities for each rider; in coordination with ED
· HORSE CARE COORDINATOR – organizes and/or executes - feeding , vet assistance, therapies, routine prevention (vaccinations, deworming), field care before lessons, supervise grooming and warming up, assists in training and retraining ; in coordination with ED
· FACILITY & EQUIPMENT MANAGER – maintains and/or improves facility (barns, storages, pasture), fencing, generator, light, truck, watering system; in coordination with ED
· BARN MANAGER- organize and execute field and stall cleaning, watering, bedding, in coordination with the Horse Care Coordinator, Facility Manager and ED
· VOLUNTEER TRAINER (BARN MANAGEMENT) – organize and/or execute training for volunteer team including routine tack cleaning, storage, mucking and other barn management activities for volunteers, safe procedures and actual routine of activities at the field; in coordination with ED
· VOLUNTEER TRAINER (NATURAL HORSEMANSHIP) – organize and/or execute volunteer training and program activities related to Natural Horsemanship for Volunteer Team and during program activities, as needed; in coordination with ED
· VOLUNTEER COORDINATOR – organizes administration related to Volunteer Team, communicates and manages volunteer schedules, attendance, interests; in coordination with ED
· FUNDRAISING COMMITTEE – solicits and gathers voluntary contributions as monetary, or other resources, by requesting donations from individuals, businesses, charitable foundations, or governmental agencies
· PUBLIC RELATIONSHIP COMMITTEE- manages the flow of information between Spirit Program and community; provides exposure to the community, using topics of public interest and news items that present our Vision and Mission.

VOLUNEERS MENTORS FOR HORSE CARE
Zoe, Ilana, Mira, Naomi and Lindy are present Volunteers Mentors for horse care.
Volunteers Mentors, please, recruit new volunteers which you will mentor and let me know your team members.
Each of Mentor Volunteers should have a team of at least, 2-3 new volunteers.
Retraining of problematic horses can be only done by me J, so please, assure that no one is trying to do anything related to problem habits of any horses who develop any kind of behavioral issues.
