Thank you Leslie and Dan for all you did to help Spirit keep on going after Annie was gone....

So, Sonny came from Louise's farm...

He seems to fit into Spirit as he always was part of our team...

Anastasia is gone...

Annie had a great life, and enriched lives of many kids and their parents in last few months.

It was her time to go last night, and I was not able to stop her...

To all parents whose kids used to ride Annie...please explain them that Annie had to go back to her mom and dad, and soon she will send us her sister for replacement...

This is a part of life, and I am proud that we never dismissed that little mare for her neurological problems...and she gave us back with great moments of love and acceptance for her riders.

Sad news...

Annie's time was over tonight ...she had to leave...same way as Spirit The Mare...
Good bye, little Annie, and thank you for all great moments you gave to us...

IMPORTANT Update

Unfortunately after many talks with Dada and Jessica from Raithel Farm, looks like due to weather we're going to have to postpone "A Day with Spirit."

Tentatively we are looking at Labor Day weekend as the rain date, but we will have more information on that a little later.

Weather Possibilities

The weather forecast for tomorrow is dismal, however the SPIRIT team will be at Raithel Farm despite the weather, providing food and having fun in the large barn to wait out the possible rain. As of now there is no rain date set, so everyone is still welcome to come out to the farm for food and games! In the event that it is sunny, then activities will go on as planned!

Hello everyone!!

Just a reminder that this Saturday at 10 am is A Day with SPIRIT! There will be games, food, horses, and fun, so bring the whole family!

Here is a schedule of activities taking place on Saturday:

10:00 am: Everyone arrives, welcome.

10:30 am: Introduction of SPIRIT program and Raithel Farm

10:45 am: Presentation of SPIRITed Riders (Sharon and Wendy)

11:15 am: Games and pony rides start. Information booth will be set up on the deck with SPIRIT t-shirts, visors, brochures, and information, along with donation box.

12:00 pm: Lunch is served

12:45 pm: Closing statement from SPIRIT and Raithel Farm

1:00 pm: Wrap up A Day with SPIRIT

We hope to see you all there!!

For those who do not know, the special friend of Spirit, volunteer, Andrew's dad - who had severe medical issues is doing much better and is at home now! Thanks to all who help him and his family to deal with this hard time....
