Help needed for Sunday!

Dear all,
as you know Wendy and Larissa are going to present Para equestrian discipline and Spirit Open Equestrian Program, tomorrow at the Washington International Horse Show.

Spirit will have a table to present our vision and mission there.

It is great opportunity to spread Spirit Story.

I will have 4-5 passes for tomorrow show, and whoever is willing to help, please contact me....with pass you have free access to the Show, and few hours duty to be around Spirit presentation table.
Time - 1 PM to the end of the show. No one is obligate to spend all time there, but we need to cet up schedule for presentation table duty to cover whole time.

I am proud to be able to inform you that Spirit's rider, Wendy Shugol, Para equestrian rider Grade 1a will promote Para equestrian dicsipline, at the Washington International Horse Show this Sunday. She will ride her Morgan mare, Larissa, and perform her Free Style test.

Still no lessons this Saturday....

I had a plan to work at the facility this Saturday, but nothing official. Sorting tack and organizing new storage space...
Sometime around noon time...

What a good work we done this Saturday

Thank you, Julia, Sandy, Therese, Kathleen, Sindhu, Naomi, Ilana, Myra...for sorting and replacing tack, and more than anything else for loving care to our horses....

Also, Spirit Program has been presented at Annandale Open House event at Oak Hill Home. Together with Frying Pan Farm Park, we presented equestrian activities at the Park and Spirit's Mission...Our horses did not leave fields, and Spirit Friend April with her Levi presented us at Annandale...see how it was:

This Saturday - some work and fun instead of lessons

Saturday, 10/16 if you miss Spirit and smell of our horses, come at 9 AM to do some work at the field, around horses....and prepare space for new stall which is coming in 3-4 weeks....See you at the field!

Wednesday riders

Kid's class last night, was special.
First time Tess, new mare, were included in lesson and Alex spent great time, doing all activities at this gentle giant's saddle.
All riders did great, showing natural talent, as well as huge desire to spend as much as possible time with our horses...helping Spirit Team even before and after lessons to do routine with Spirit, Colby, Infinity, Larisa and Tess.
Too bad, no photos yet...

Thank you Leslie for teaching, and Linda, Sarah, Anya, Alison, Sindhu, Margaret and Elizabeth for helping.

This class finishes after one more Wednesday, and then we have brake for two weeks...

Beside all volunteers there is an Instructor who coordinate lesson, and this Saturday, it was Linda, alone. Teaching not only Aaron, Burton and Robbie, she was coordinating the whole team around all riders, so smooth, safe and functional related to individual therapeutic goals, she made this Saturday special one.

Big thanks for great day this Saturday. Lot of work has been done, all items organized, place for new shed prepared, lessons done with lot of smiles and special moments for Cella, Aaron, Joey, Burton, Regina, Robbie and Kate!
Thank you, Julia, Therese, Jeff, Laura, Sarah, Sindhu, Naomi, Ilana, Myra wonderful team from Paul VI High school - Rachel, Molly, Holy..........all great people in Spirit Team. Thank you for working with Spirit and making it's mission so successful.

So far, it seems that rain will calm down before lesson at 5 PM, at Monday, and Tuesday should be nice weather, anyway.
It is possible, in case of light rain that we will do lessons in indoor...so volunteers or riders, if you do not see us at the field, or lower ring look for us in indoor at scheduled time.
Also, call me if you are in doubt, just after 1PM, please.
