Volunteers Needed!

The SPIRIT Winter Dressage Series is finally getting underway this Saturday! We have a full roster of amazing horse and rider teams who will be showing their skills and teamwork. On the ground, we are also building a team of volunteers to help and we could use some more helping hands! The event starts at 8am. Please come to the indoor arena at Frying Pan Park around 8/8:30 and find Deb Bowers and help our riders to shine! Volunteers will be needed throughout the day as well!

Thank you Laura, Zoe, Rachel, Megan, Abby, and Abby I, Colin, Melissa, Kay, and whoever else helped to put blankets on our horses. It is not an easy job but you made all 14 of them feeling warm and cozy in this blizzard condition.

Therapeutic Riding lessons canceled today

Message for Tuesday riders:
TR Instructor Sue can not make it today. Therapeutic Riding class canceled. Make up lessons will be offered Thursday same time. 
Today EAL students and volunteer training session, work with horses at indoor 5-7 PM

Sue lives deep NW in Loundon County and commute is a challenge.

Celebrating tomorrow!

We did it through a week one of Winter session!
EAL students, Instructors in training, Assistants tomorrow is a day to play with horses, to take Grace and Sadie from their field, show them ring and routine in new family, time to let Spirit fly (on lounge line smile emoticon ) and whoever else need to celebrate end of the winter coming closer every day, time to play, ride and work , time for volunteers to help taking care of stalls and practice their skills of leading and sidewalking....hoping for lot of photos about all of that.

SPIRIT needs You!

Greetings SPIRIT volunteers and friends! Our winter session is now officially underway and we are so happy to have our riders back in the ring!

With lessons underway, we will need help from our volunteers and EAL students, both new and experienced, to work with our riders and help out during sessions. If you can come help on Mondays, Tuesday's and/or Wednesdays, please do come and join us!

If you've never volunteered with us before but have always wanted to findout more about SPIRIT please reach out to us here or through our website, we would love to have you join our team and we will teach you everything you need to know!
